A template file should work for any samplerate.

If I change the sample rate and open Qtractor with a template the following occurs:
I get an erroneous warning, since there is no file to save yet, since nothing has been created yet, only the program has been opened with a template.

There is no conflict with the frequencies, because there is no content to conflict with yet.
New content will be created or adapted to the current frequency and the session will be saved with the current frequency without any conflict.

For context, I should explain I've recently settled on a really nice upgrade to my workflow where I have a single Scratch track I use to explore all my new ideas. The track has all the software synths loaded into it (enabled/disabled accordingly). Essentially, this cuts down on all the routing and setup needed and allows me to spring into creative mode instantly. Once I like what's happening, I can then duplicate the track and do all the things related to routing, cleanup, etc. It's nice.

Hi from coastal Virginia USA.

I've got some old-ass eyes that need all the help they can get. To that end, the green tint assigned to the Current Time and Current Tempo displays is hard for me to read.

How deep into the settings do I have to go to alter the color of that specific display without having to grind my way through different Themes, or totally botch things up?

On a whim, I just disabled all plugins on all tracks. I wanted to confirm/see the DSP savings. Of course, after seeing the improvement with my own eyes, it makes total sense and now I'm thinking about using automation to disable a given track's plugins (by way of the standard "Activate" selection) when I know they won't be needed anymore (the track has served its purpose and I know I will not be adding anything to it in the future).

Or, I may not. That's a lot of work.

I can select multiple tracks. But when I change their height with + only one track's height is changed.

Am I doing it wrong?

Hi,

When selecting a track in the Arranger window, the corresponding Track strip is highlighted in the mixer. Can this be extended to also highlight the bus used for audio output?

I am having problem with your tempo guessing code.
I have Ardour generating Midi Clock and MMC. Qtr is set to Jack = None.
In Qtractor settings I have set receive Midi Clock and receive MMC.
In QjackCtl I have set connections from Ardour to Qtractor.

Bar 1 of my song is 117 BPM. The song slows down at the end.
Starting from Bar 122 the tempo changes to 112, it drops -5 beats per bar, down to 87 BPM over 6 bars.
I have the same tempo map loaded in Ardour as well.

Hi Rui, I am running Qtr 0.9.35. I can't make sense of the Midi Edit window. When editing or adding notes, the mouse/pointer will jump to another position in the window and not where my mouse or note is. I am guessing the edit window re-draws the page and drops me back to the start of the clip. Do I need to set a pointer first ?

and what happens, when it's not activated?

Does it have any function when there is no tempo change?
