Hi Rui, I am running Qtr 0.9.35. I can't make sense of the Midi Edit window. When editing or adding notes, the mouse/pointer will jump to another position in the window and not where my mouse or note is. I am guessing the edit window re-draws the page and drops me back to the start of the clip. Do I need to set a pointer first ?

although qtractor v0.9.35 is way too old to matter it shouldn't behave like you are telling here--the mouse pointer is not supposed to move on its own--besides, there's no code or command in qtractor that changes or forces the mouse-pointer position elsewhere, whatsoever: none!
it must be something else there fooling you or your graphics system ;)

I think you have the snap to beat tool enabled.
It's not the mouse pointer that snaps but the note clip, so that may not be what you're referring to.
If it's as you say, that it's the mouse pointer that snaps, that's a very strange thing that has never happened to me in any version of Qtractor.
