is that about a one-f*-pixel offset that was showing on the blue-shaded floating event selection?

that's just one lousy excuse to drop (my beloved) shadows... go fetch the fix in 0.9.39.5git.27210b [develop], please.

or else, you may choose apostasy, but shadows are to stay put and may never ever leave the main branch.
