Hey there, i've recently tried to build a kernel with the help of Joe Giampaoli's guide http://joegiampaoli.blogspot.co.uk/2011/06/m-audio-fast-track-pro-for-de....
All was running smooth till I was faced with the message: GConf-WARNING **: Client failed to connect to the D-BUS daemon:
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
It occurs when Joe tells me to start JACK using qjackctl to check my IRQ priority levels. I contacted Joe on this issue and was advised to have a word with you here.
As this is the final step to my new life on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS using my trusted M-audio fast track pro I would very much appreciate your help.
Thank you!
Adam
