yes, i know that's one major key feature of the overdub process :) but...

re. Have you had more trials and errors with this?
yes, had a few more and somehow things have improved a bit, but got stuck on the undo/redo side of things: it's kind of broken and still not safe for the masses :)

re. how can I select overlapping clips?
aren't they selected anyway? i could swear the opposite is what's not that simple, like selecting just one of the overlapping clips, specially the one earlier/underneath :/ i'll take a closer look at this asap.
