all the vee-ones have audio input channels, which simple purpose is the feed the effects stage mixed with the internal synths output.

this audio signal input do NOT serve as any kind of synth oscillator source.

it has been like so much to let it be possible to insert more than one LV2 plugin instances in chain eg. on a qtractor MIDI track or bus.

that said it doesn't make much sense on the standalone jack-clients versions, but might be of some use if you wish to get the same audio effects as applied to the output of the synth engines.
