Drumkv1 0.7.1 bug ?

On a fresh debian jessie install with kxstudio repos.
using as stand alone or in qtractor. load up drumkv1, drag a sample, add chorus effect, all is fine. When assigning the sample to a group and strike a key.........crash. Running from terminal gives "Segmentation fault" after crash. Hope this helps.

yes, there's a bug in drumkv1 on all versions including v0.7.1 re. exclusive Group assignment: drumkv1 will crash immediately on any sample/key triggering that has its Group setting to anything but "Off" or "1".
[UPDATE:] fixed on git master head [b10d13] aka. drumkv1 v0.7.1.1git.b10d13; packages for Debian 8 are being made ready on the OBS (http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:rncbc/Debian_8.0/) ...hth.

So I install drumkv1_0.7.1.1git.b10d13-1_amd64.deb with dpkg -i and I get this-

Not so with previous version.
re. drumkv1_0.7.1.1git*.deb
note that my packages are all-in-one (lv2 and jack standalone) builds against libjack0 (aka. jack1; i believe is just called "jack-audio-connection-kit" on the kxstudio libraries repos). you probably have installed libjack-jackd2-0 instead (as from "jackd2" aka. jack2).
maybe you can build from source take the original tarball from the local snapshots please, and proceed with normal build and installation.
or you can ask falktx to build and package it to kxstudio application/plugins repos asap. (hint: look at linuxmusicians.com kxstudio forum)
or you can wait for next dot release--actually, the bug only manifests when an element group is set to "2" or above through "128", so that you can only have one effective exclusive group at any one time (that being group "1").
