Vee One Suite 0.9.90 - A Spring'24 Release Candidate batch #2

Hi, once again,

The Vee One Suite of old-school software instruments,

  • synthv1 as a polyphonic subtractive synthesizer;
  • samplv1 a polyphonic sampler synthesizer;
  • drumkv1 as yet another drum-kit sampler;
  • padthv1 a polyphonic additive synthesizer.

Are here for the (northern) Spring'24 release candidate, in a so called ]QStuff* second batch of the blooming season...

All still delivered in dual form, as usual:

  • a pure stand-alone JACK client with JACK-session, NSM (Non/New Session Management) and both JACK MIDI and ALSA MIDI input support;
  • a LV2 instrument plug-in.

Change-log:

  • Prepping the unthinkable (aka. v1.0.0-rc1)
  • Added build checks on whether to use old or newer style of LV2 include headers.
  • LV2 plugin Control Input Port-change request extension feature support added.
  • Updated copyright headers into the New Year (2024).

The QStuff* Spring'24 Release Candidate batch #1

Hi there!

The first batch of the QStuff*: QjackCtl, Qsynth, Qsampler, QXGEdit, QmidiCtl and QmidiNet, are here released for the (northern) Spring'24 season.

Enjoy the blooming season...

The Unthinkable...

Yep,

After a wholelotta years, decades to be precise, in deep uber-procrastination, it's now being promoted into a real thought...

Cheers ;-)

qpwgraph v0.6.3 - A Good-Friday'24 Release

  • Fixed system-tray icon to a 32x32 pixmap.
  • Fixed renamed ports positioned incorrectly after relaunch.

The Ides of March '24

It's upon us...

The good news are: just completed a successful migration to KDE Plasma 6 on ALL of the boxes in the house: 2 desktops and 3 laptops. No blisters found, hurray! Huge congratulations to the KDE Team and all the unspoken contributors who made this a whole milestone and a quite smooth transition!

Now for the possible bad news: all upstream (that's me) QStuff* support for anything older than Qt6.0 is going to be scuttled, give or take a week, a month or two.

Moving forward... because, there's no other way ;)

Cheers
