i see. good thought but i'd rather leave it to when track copy/duplicating comes around.

meanwhile, have you notice that you can drag-and-drop (copy/move) plugin instances across mixer track strips, preserving each respective settings or presets ? yes, you'll have to make it one by one though. but it's a start ;)
