I apparently missed this. I assumed there should be an easier way to do this, but never did discover it. Thanks for the tip. Perhaps I can contribute on this project by writing some documentation for you.

Ok seriously, I'm considering your suggestion in doing the resizing by dragging the clip edges with the mouse. I'm also considering to have the clip time-stretched in addition (shift-drag?), that is, changing the audio clip time-stretch factor in proportion to the clip size change. What you think?

I think this would be a fine addition. The Shift+Drag is the same way it is done within Samplitude, so I'm all for it. :)
EDIT: Wow, you are quick! I see you've already added the dragable clip resizing feature in 0.0.9.791. Woohoo!!

Clip locking seems to be a nice idea too. Another one of yours that get noted ;)
