I've been testing with a USB recording interface (Singstar PlayStation 2 :) ) that only works at 44100.
I've forced PW to 48000. I've tested both in normal PW and in the Ubuntu Studio Pro Audio implementation.
Everything works perfectly.
I think (again I could be wrong) that it's a compatibility problem between the keyboard and ALSA at the driver level.
Manufacturers are very much their own and don't always follow the standards.
If there's a way to install the native hardware drivers it could solve the problem. But I don't know how to do it.
