Right but why wouldn't you just make use of the text field already provided under File/Properties/Description? I feel dumb :D
I'm asking because all we're talking about here is having a facility to manage (and maintain) unstructured text. There's already a suitable facility in place to accomplish that task. It seems bolting on that same endgame to unique plugin instances ONLY results in a session where you'd have any number of "notes" in who-knows-how-many locations. I just don't get what the win would be?
