I hardly dare to ask again and maybe the last time :-)
In "qtractorMidiEditorForm.cpp" there is still the possibility to decide if compiling with qt4 or qt 5 (if qt>=5 .. else qt>=4).
Anyway, during make-process I get the error:

maybe fixed in qtractor >= 0.9.9.32git.f3e56c...
please note that as time goes by it will be increasingly difficult to support dead old Qt4 builds let alone the loss of features and functionalities...
again, please consider very seriously to move to Qt5 asap. there's no looking back and there are no excuses left :)

With the newly released Debian 10 maybe I dare the change to Qt5 ;-)

yes, qt4 is posed to be removed from debian 10 distribution soon if not already.
