Installing synthv1

Forums

Hiya, is it best to just compile synthv1? I am on LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition). I've just installed qt5 and qt5-qmake so I'm hoping I should be all sorted to do the compilation.

Cheers, Steve.

hello
on debian i've been told many good things about kxstudio:)

if you still wish to build it yourself make sure you have at least these installed (and all the respective dependencies):
automake, pkg-config, qtbase5-dev, qtbase5-dev-tools, qttools5-dev-tools, qtchooser, libjack-dev, libasound2-dev, lv2-dev and liblo0-dev.

you can also try from my own OBS repos. maybe the one for Debian 8.0 ?

Thankyou, I might try those suggestions.

Also, I found out that version 0.5.1-1 is available in the repos I already have.
