Hi,
would you be interested in using cmake to build qtractor? That would, among other things, make the (future) porting to Mac and Windows easier.
The cmake and autotools could live side by side (at least for a trial period) without stepping one on the other.
I am happy to do the work, as long as there is a sign of interest :-)

well, as an alternative easy-going build system like cmake is, i must confess my interest goes like this saying: what is good for packagers is good for me too :)
on the (future) porting to other platforms than linux subject, i shall also confess that it won't happen in my watch--qtractor is linux-only for the foreseeable future, at least it will stay like so as far as my patronizing support is due ;)
