I watched the video tutorial but I don't understand how it works, when I select "inputs" and "outputs" I see that it talks about "doors" to be connected to each other by dragging them, and a black connection line appears, but I don't know how it works, I should see as input device the name of my sound card and as output device for example USB audio speakers, I don't know if I managed to explain, how exactly does the input and output setting work in Qtractor?

Hello everyone, I'm new here and I installed Qtractor on Raspberry Pi, I didn't understand how to set the input and output devices, I have a sound card connected to the Raspberry that I would like to set as an input device, I currently tried to add an audio track empty but I don't see the signal arriving, usually in DAWs there is a colored bar that goes up and down, I assume that the problem is to be found in the fact that I haven't set the input device, can anyone help me? Thank you.

How can I record my two audio interface inputs in independents mono channels?

Hi everybody.
Since I switched to Linux music production and performance, I decided to do *everything* Linux-only.
I gave a new life to an old eeepc with RAM=1GB and a 32 bit processor. I removed Windows XP and installed Lubuntu + low-latency kernel and Jack.
I want to launch some loops from it, could you suggest me your best choice looping application) I decided to use LuPPP but it's 64-bit only.
Giada is minimal and functional but sometimes it crashes.
Any suggestion?

I hope you don't mind me asking. I have been trying to make an App for myself in Qt. Failure several times. I downloaded and studied your Qtractor source code (Amazing work by the way), I got so far then got lost. I have an 8 in Audio Card and I have some nice Licensed Channel Strip VST's.

I'd like a QtWindow, (soundcard detect) audio in ->myvstchannel strip-> audio out. The channel strip to be hard coded, not added as a Plug in, like in a Daw.

Could you please give me a clue, I've spent months trying to figure it out!

I installed the git version of PadthV1 and (almost) all seems to be working fine. However, two problems:

(I wasn't able to log in to Sourceforge to post the bugs there, so apologies if this is not the right place.)

- twice the synth locked up while playing notes and changing the values of the harmonics levels. (all works fine if I don't play notes while changing the harmonic levels)

Dear Rui, I am very thankful for your software. Yet I do not like the white icons. Is it okay for you if on my website I provide your software compiled with the old icons?

Errors

This is slightly off-topic ; I need to display waveforms of .ogg files for the html5-based player used by the CMS that I'm working on.

So far I can read .wav files and generate an image from it ; I'm using the method described here and it works fine for 8 and 16 bits wav files, but converting the files on the web server is not an option here, so I need to parse ogg files on the fly.
