QmidiNet is a MIDI network gateway application that sends and receives MIDI data (ALSA-MIDI and JACK-MIDI) over the network, using UDP/IP multicast. Inspired by multimidicast and designed to be compatible with ipMIDI for Windows.
QmidiCtl is a MIDI remote controller application that sends MIDI data over the network, using UDP/IP multicast. Inspired by multimidicast (http://llg.cubic.org/tools) and designed to be compatible with ipMIDI for Windows (http://nerds.de). QmidiCtl has been primarily designed for the Maemo enabled handheld devices, namely the Nokia N900 and also being promoted to the Maemo Package repositories. Nevertheless, QmidiCtl may still be found effective as a regular desktop application as well.
QXGEdit is a live XG instrument editor, specialized on editing MIDI System Exclusive files (.syx) for the Yamaha DB50XG and thus probably a baseline for many other XG devices.
Single/unique application instance control adapted to Qt5/X11.
Prefer Qt5 over Qt4 by default with configure script.
Complete rewrite of Qt4 vs. Qt5 configure builds.
A new top-level widget window geometry state save and restore sub-routine is now in effect.
Added "Keywords" to desktop file; fix passing debian flags on configure (patches by Jaromír Mikeš, thanks).
Fixed for some strict tests for Qt4 vs. Qt5 configure builds.
Added application description as freedesktop.org's AppData.

The Vee One Suite aka. the gang of threeold-school software instruments, featuring synthv1, as one polyphonic synthesizer, samplv1, a polyphonic sampler and drumkv1, as one drum-kit sampler, which is getting a small but pertinent bug-fix, are all making up for the so called Summer'15 release frenzy (extended edition;)).
All made available in dual form:
a pure stand-alone JACK client with JACK-session, NSM (Non Session management) and both JACK MIDI and ALSA MIDI input support;
Fixed a recent bug/mistake that was causing a complete reset/revert of all element parameters to prior values upon loading an element sample file. (applies to drumkv1 only)
Improved Qt4 vs. Qt5 configure builds (via qmake).

Qtractor is an audio/MIDI multi-track sequencer application written in C++ with the Qt framework. Target platform is Linux, where the Jack Audio Connection Kit (JACK) for audio and the Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) for MIDI are the main infrastructures to evolve as a fairly-featured Linux desktop audio workstation GUI, specially dedicated to the personal home-studio.
As a major highlight to this release, there's the advent of regular MIDI controllers mapping/assignment to main application menu command actions, just like normal PC-keyboard shortcuts, is being introduced (cf. main menu Help/Shortcuts...).
The Vee One Suite of old-school software instruments, aka. the gang of three have gone through yet another milestone: synthv1, as one polyphonic synthesizer, samplv1, a polyphonic sampler and drumkv1, as one drum-kit sampler, are now part of the Summer'15 release frenzy :)
Still available in dual form:
a pure stand-alone JACK client with JACK-session, NSM (Non Session management) and both JACK MIDI and ALSA MIDI input support;
Reset ramps after LV2 control port reconnection; small fixes to LV2.ttl (pull-requests by Hanspeter Portner aka. ventosus, on synthv1, thanks).
MIDI Controllers/Programs is now an optional feature on the LV2 plugin forms, as some LV2 hosts might enforce the purity restriction to input control ports as being absolutely read-only parameter values from a plugin's instance perspective.
MIDI Controller mapping/learn is now possible on all parameter control knobs; with global configuration also available on the Help/Configure dialog.
French (fr) translation line to desktop file added (by Olivier Humbert, thanks).
