Send MIDI Control Change message to a device

Forums

Hi all,

I would like to send a MIDI Control Change message to a device

In particular, I need to send me CC #65 to a Commodore 64 :)

Is that possible in Qtractor?

hi, of course it's possible!

  1. create a MIDI track;
  2. create a new MIDI Clip;
  3. on the MIDI clip editor, select "Controller" istead of "Note Velocity" and then "65 - Portamento (on/off)"
  4. also set "Edit On" (aka. pencil button; or menu Edit/Select Mode/Edit On);
  5. just create and edit the MIDI CC#65 controller events on the lower view pane;
  6. that's it!

hth.
cheers
