destructive editing?

Hello, is there an easy way of opening a clip in an external wav editor like audacity or mhwaveedit to do some destructive changes in a way that when I save in this program and quit, the clip in qtractor is affected?
A Clip->Open With menu entry would be fantastic

meh. no.
however, if you edit any audio file from outside qtractor, no matter which editor you use, it will affect the respective audio clip irreversibly, no doubt :)
