since two of my last posts were nuisance I try to be carefully with my information about possible issues ;-)
QTractor 0.5.1.7svn2523 compiles fine on my system, whereas v0.5.1.8svn2524 delivers the following error message when doing "make" ("configure" did not deliver any error messages):

it looks like a pedantic error on your build system while just a compiler warning on mine :)
fixed on svn trunk rev.2525.
