Clicks when changing gain

Hey Rui!
Haven't posted here in a while. Do know, I am an everyday user of Qtractor ;)
Anyway, since automation appeared, I started paying attention to the problem which actually has haunted me for a long time - and that is, very loud clicks when I move the gain slider in the mixer. In fact, I have the same problem with Rakarrack.
The clicks are so loud, that when I automate the slider, clicks basically make the tune inaudible.
Is there anything I can do to configure my system in order to fix it? Maybe the reason is something different?

sounds very strange :(
those kind of clicks have been subject to very special attention in qtractor code through ramping. which means that gain and panning effects are smooth and not abrupt as it was on earlier versions before 0.5.0. take care that this is supposed to apply to tracks only. buses have no protection for this nor they have been automatable, yet.
are your gain changes way too abrupt anyway? have you any kind of evidence for me to reproduce the issue, like a minimal session archive file (.qtz) where those clicks can be heard systematically?

Rui, I apologize! Just got the update of Qtractor 0.50 (for some reason my distro update arrived just now). No more clicks - thank you for the magnificent job. I think you can safely remove this topic - otherwise it will confuse people.
