Make vs. Cmake?

Hi.
I noticed the announcement of the so-called Q-Stuff at linuxmusicians and the change/switch to cmake to compile/build from source. I'm just curious when Qtractor will change to cmake and perhaps to a new version of Qt?
Will there be a new stable release of Qtractor before switching to cmake and newer Qt.

hi, two things:
1. the switch to cmake is already taken as (my) default; but can still use the (old) autotools if you prefer...
2. the switch to Qt6, again as default, will only happen _after_ the coming release.
