In collapsed state it does not show the gain fader. Of course it is still controllable from the numeric box.
The space that the strip reduces in collapsed state is the space occupied by the fader, so the volumeters are not affected in their width.
Regardless of whether it is collapsed or expanded, if the mouse passes over a strip, it expands the fader measurement.
If you start from a collapsed state, the fader is displayed again when expanded.
If you start from an uncollapsed state, the fader is always visible. The strip expands its width by the width of the fader.
They are just ideas in the air. Like every idea in the air in the head it seems to work... but in practice it may be a total disaster XD.
