Found another solution

I found https://github.com/x42/jack_midi_clock that handles the problem with MIDI SPP not being granular enough in a slightly different way as I proposed. Works fine.

jack_midi_clock -> j2amidi_bridge
gives the MIDI CLOCK + SPP that ensures perfect sync.
