I don't know what to say other than I've explained the ill side effect twice now? First here which is followed by a recommendation to introduce a new shortcut in a way that would protect the usability of the existing shortcuts. I took another shot at explaining the side effect here and reiterated the recommendation on how to refactor this feature in a way that is backwards compatible.
