re. Qsampler does not save [plugin] instruments to a .lscp file

yes, that's correct and expected behavior; qsampler only saves non-plugin instruments to .lscp file.

saving plugin instruments and their state is responsibility of the plugin host (eg. DAW); qsampler is not a plugin host.
