re. Tempo map changes and automation (mysteriouser)

hmm, are you by any chance, under pipewire-jack and not genuine jackd(bus) ?

anyway, but most specially if pipewire-jack is in charge, try to switch Transport > Mode to None or Master, and never to Slave nor Full. check whether the "mysterious" behavior is then gone or not present anymore...
