no. if you change the tempo-map after automation is laid out, the curve points remain at their absolute timeposition iow.. it doesn't change relative to new metro/BBT scale. sorry. UPDATE: I was wrong, sorry! As a matter of fact, automation curves *do actually* follow tempo-map changes and do so for quite some time now; my bad!
though, this still has nothing to do with the "yearlong bug" whosoever, as it related to MIDI file import (and not automation).
