I encountered this problem last night and it happened 100% on 3 different projects with various sf2s, but after rolling back to 0.7.6 to double-check that everything was fine (it was) and re-installing 0.7.7 again, today I'm getting something different. I haven't seen the sf2 un-loaded yet, but often the audio won't play; at other times, it plays fine even after saving. As per the previous posts, the mixer responds and LV2 works fine on the same track.
I had the bug consistently on a clean session last night, but can't reproduce it on one today. I'll upload a qtz of a session I've had problems with on another thread. Not sure if it'll be of any help, but we'll see.
