Henry, you can always ask for help anywhere you see fit (re. ardour or rosegarden forums) in fact that's good practice. But remember please to lay out some evidence of your problems: console messages printout is a must :) Your system details is also complementary: kernel, alsa, jack and sound device version and configuration info comes to mind a lot.

Have that precious and relevant details ready when reporting for help. Always. Otherwise one might be left clueless in the dark, no matter whether he/she is a master of the (witch)craft ;)
