Argh. I fixed the lockup alright, but failed to tell you that changing Master mode to anything but Duplex is not a good thing to do. Guess I will disable it: Master buses will be always set to duplex mode. You can change the name, the number of channels or the auto-connect flag, but not the mode. We'll see if that's enough... :)

When you change the name, or anything else for that matter, of one particular bus, you will in deed recreate the corresponding infrastrutural ports from scratch (either jack for audio or alsa-seq for MIDI), so that connections to the previous port instances will be lost and the new ones are not reissued. It's just the way it is, sorry ;)
