Clip resizing. There's currently another obvious way to resize a clip without setting it explicitly from the clip properties dialog: just select and cut the region at the end of the clip. In case you've missed, there are three selection modes: clip, range and rectangular (Edit/Select Mode menu) and for doing this resize workaround you're best with the rectangular mode. This will select only that clip areas or regions that fall under the rubber-band rectangle. Then you cut (or delete) the selected region. Simple, eh?
Ok seriously, I'm considering your suggestion in doing the resizing by dragging the clip edges with the mouse. I'm also considering to have the clip time-stretched in addition (shift-drag?), that is, changing the audio clip time-stretch factor in proportion to the clip size change. What you think?
Clip locking seems to be a nice idea too. Another one of yours that get noted ;)
