It's perfect! Exactly what I needed. Thanks so much again, sir. I love Qtractor!

no more squinting eyes in mixer view haha. and i get to keep my weird color scheme!

(just comparing these new pics to the first original one, it's night and day difference. it really is wonderful how you so quickly solved my issue, sir.)
