In my themes' README.md it now says:

**Apply Icons Theme**

`Qtractor > View > Options > Display { Custom { Icons Theme [Browse]`

This functionality is available starting from Qtractor version 1.5.

In Grayscale I added the "noDistractionIcons" folder inside "images". The transparent icons are now stored there.
In the README.md I entered:

# Note from "VisualThemes Qtractor"

This is a modified distribution of the [Grayscale](https://github.com/windowsrefund/grayscale-theme) theme by windowsrefund.
The original theme is designed to remove any distractions. Therefore it does away with the display of some icons and toolbars.
To remove these icons, the original theme replaces them with transparent images. While the "No Distraction" approach is interesting, it can be confusing to many users.

That's why in this VTQs distribution we've stored those transparent images in the "images/noDistractionIcons/" folder.
If you want to enjoy the original "Grayscale" experience, just copy the content of "images/noDistractionIcons/" to "images/" and follow the original theme instructions below.
