ok. so we're looking for a 4th implementation perhaps...

let me put it this way: the percentage parameter is replaced by a 3-choice drop-down list with the following items:

0 = None => no gap; pure-legato; identical to former 100% setting;
1 = Gap => positive gap; similar to <100% but with a fixed gap duration given by the (snap-to-)beat/fraction parameter (formerly the quantize value);
2 = Over(lap) => negative gap; same as of >100% but with a fixed overlap duration (beat/fraction);
