I just had this same problem and a search landed me here.
I can confirm that it is merely a window manager problem. Opening my window manager and switching to a different theme and then back fixed the problem for me.

Also... sorry that I have not been more visible on YouTube lately. Since the pandemic started I have been absurdly busy with work modifications (public school music teacher) and a growing family.

Hopefully I will have some new stuff to post soon concerning music on Linux esp. with Qtractor. I have noticed some great stability improvements in Qtractor over the past year and also some great Linux native plug-in development that has gotten me out of using WINE for SFZ sample libraries.
