I cant thank you enough.. You were spot on, it was not activating the plugin, that little green light.... Feeling a bit daft to have missed that (I didnt miss it when doing audio) but that is over-ridden by the joy of it all working now..
SOUND AT LAST...!!! If I knew who you were I would put at the top of my xmas card list..

Gonna have a real good play now its all working..
