iow. MIDI that ever gets in through a MIDI track's plugin chain never gets out, unless you spit it out explicitly via a MIDI aux-send pseudo-plugin insert.

even though, you should be careful about those MIDI filtering and all, otherwise a lot of duplicate events may appear at the designated MIDI output bus--specially if same as of the MIDI track's.
