I am testing the development version. I have verified that this new functionality works correctly in projects.
However, when exporting a project to audio, auxiliary sends inserted in output busses are ignored.
I inform you about this possible bug

maybe not a bug but a not-so-well-known caveat: besides it being now possible to insert one from the UI (it's been disabled before), aux-sends in audio output buses may only work in very special circumstances: the target bus must be *after* the source one; in that very case, export may also be meaningful if the later is also included in the output export list as well.
