Hello,
my keyboard has several MIDI controller elements, I was able to configure 8 sliders for track gain 1-8 under View/Controllers.
Furthermore there a four knobs which can be rotated endlessly, but they deliver only two different values: 1 and 64 (see screenshot). On my workstation these knobs can be used to change values in a wide range. Is it possible to use these knobs for panning in qtractor? Why do they only deliver two values?

yes
Why do they only deliver two values?
it must be something that you tell or configure on the keyboard side, maybe there's a mod switch on the keyboard or something... you'll probably have to read the keyboard's user manual, perhaps...
note that the knob is sending MIDI CC#16 (General Purpose 1 MSB) on MIDI channel 1 (B0 10 xx) and values should actually range from 0 to 127 (xx=00..7F), continuously.

Thanks for the quick reply, my workstation provides also a 'plugin' mode, where CC numbers have to be assigned to the knobs. I will look into this.
