how can i see the all the automation overlays at once on the track wave form display?
also how do i unselect an automation option whan i no longer want to use it? i have tried ckicking on it but the butten next to it stays black.
so far qtractor is the only program that allows me some form of keyframing for audio effects.
thank you for the great program.
re. how can i see the all the automation overlays at once...
hi oduodu,
how can i see the all the automation overlays at once on the track wave form display?
you can't. so sorry. you can only select one automation curve per track at any one time and place.
also how do i unselect an automation option whan i no longer want to use it? i have tried ckicking on it but the butten next to it stays black.
you can. go the [A] for "Automation >" menu button, on the left track pane; or go on the main menu Track > Automation which applies to the current track; then Automation > Select > None, for not displaying (ie. unselect) the current automation/curve overlay; if you don't wish to apply that particular automation curve on playback, then you may turn off Automation > Play (fake green-led turns black), or on (fake black-led turns lit-green); if you want to clear all automation curve points, then hit Automation > Clear. You can also clear all automation sets on a track with Automation > Clear All.
so far qtractor is the only program that allows me some form of keyframing for audio effects.
I would be surprised if Ardour doesn't allow for some kind of that too... maybe in a different way, perhaps ;)
hth.
cheers
