disable auto connection?

Forums

Every time I start qtractor it connects all its outputs to system outputs, and this is a royal PITA, since I'm using it in a nsm session and jackpatch should manage connections... every time i start the session I have to manually disconnect the outputs. Is there some option I missed? I'm using version 0.6.1

yes, there's a one-time workaround though:

  1. start a new session from scratch: File/New.
  2. turn off auto-connect from the default Audio Master bus: View/Buses..., select Audio/Master: uncheck Auto-connect, Update. Close.
  3. save session to a dummy name and/or filename (you can erase the file any time later).
  4. voilá :) from that moment on, the (don't-)auto-connect behavior for every new sessions should be remembered.

for existing saved sessions, be that under NSM or whatever, you'll have to turn auto-connect from all audio buses explicitly one by one (in View/Buses...).

hth.
cheers
