Control vst parameters with automation

Hey guys,

sorry. But again I request for a special feature for which I am searching under linux:
Is it possible to control the VSTi parameters which are integrated into the dssi-vst instrument? Like let's say the "distortion" of an effect?

It's in the TODO list: automation, which will include all plugin parameters, besides the trivial mixer controls (volume and panning). Also of interest and related to your other post is MIDI controller mapping which is also planned.
