Site redesign

Looks and feels good!

hi, glad you make it here
keep looking for any flaws, please
thanks
ps. beware forum email notifications are going to get a new start, so...
pps. one other thing is, any new content here will probably get overridden, if the old/current site is updated (eg. a new forum topic back there will clash with this one)... we'll see.

I like it, too. Let's see if it jumps to the new position when large threads get new messages. That didn't work well with the old version.

thanks
done with the migration!
old site is here.
cheers

The only "problem" I am seeing is the "new posts" count not updating in various areas. For example, when I navigate to https://www.rncbc.org/drupal/forum, I see 11 new posts in the Topics column of the qtractor forum. Clicking into that forum, I see a bunch of these "X new posts" where X is some number on most of the recent threads.
Basically, I find myself wishing I could click on some kind of "mark all as read" button or something.

Ah, I see what's going on. Just clicking on each of the links seems like it launches some garbage collection on the backend. It just takes a few moments and then the info is updated on the next refresh. Absolutely usable.
You may want to see about changing some colors though. As shown here, the new is impossible to read. I had to scrape my rodent over it just to know what was going on...

one question though,
the previous old site made it right on dark themes?
it took a couple of weeks to make up this new site styling resemble the old one, but I guess it lacks a lot on the edge cases (read dark modes)
can you take a whole screenshot in your case, if not asking too much?
thanks

Not sure what you mean by dark mode as there doesn't appear to be any user-specific theme setting available. That said, I do run Dark Reader on my side.

I just noticed I'm getting a digest subscription notification via email. Looking in user preferences, there doesn't appear to be any obvious way to disable any and all notifications. I think that functionality did exist on the older site though.

I'll be keeping an eye out for any possible errors or improvements.
By the way, I'm also working on redesigning.

News in a few minutes.

hi, welcome to this new site
let you know that this just barely resembles the former design style of yore--it's actually customized to the bone, not relying on any stock themes besides the bland default one, whatever :)
again, eagerly looking forward for your guidance and suggestions ;)
cheers
