When selecting a track in the Arranger window, the corresponding Track strip is highlighted in the mixer. Can this be extended to also highlight the bus used for audio output?
what I'd really like to have is the display of the audio destination bus in MIDI tracks, so I can see at a first glance if I misrouted a MIDI track, say as in the attached mockup (Synbass track).
re. Highlight Mixer Bus
yes, it's possible, might be a good and easy week-end project
just don't know when :)...
cheers
Thank you
Thank you
re. easy week-end project

a morning-in-the-pool vacation project it was :)
now in qtractor >= 1.1.1.1git.e17367
cheers
Audio output of MIDI tracks, too, please
Would be cool if the audio bus of a MIDI track would be highlighted, too.
re. Audio output of MIDI tracks, too, please
I'll see what I can do next time in-the-pool :)
problem is that currently only one strip per rack can be highlighted though
cheers

re. But...
qtractor >= 1.1.1.3git.a68853 already does the multiple highlighting (in the mixer)
now, what you're asking is something else... I'll try to do something about it, but no promises ;)
cheers

I just compiled it.
I just compiled it.
Works great. Even displays auxiliary sends!
Thanks.
I got confused
I got confused with the midi buses.
The auxiliary sends fortunately do not light up (it would be chaos).
Works great.
