Hi, Im looking for help to control the synthv1 from my arduino leonardo midi.
I am able to play sounds using qjackctl currently.
However would like to be able to change pitch or sustain settings from the arduino as well. Can someone please help.

The new keyboard at the bottom of the UI is a great idea, but I get no sound. I can control the synthv1 from a qtractor track w/o problem, and the small MIDI "lamp" bottom right lights up in the synthv1 GUI, but no sound is produced.

Hi! The synthv1 (0.9.9) honors the qtractor Base font size setting (12 in my case) which is great! But when I enlarge the window, it would be great if the label of the individual knobs etc would widen so as to make room for the text. See attachment.

i'm trying to start programming synthv1 , but i don't know how to edit the output volumes in the bottom right side - it seems not responding, even with imported presets. i'm pretty sure that that it's my mistake. Need help...

the same with the pad synth, drum synth, and the sampler. With filters cutoff amount also... Maybe the problem is with Carla plugin host?

I can load a single *.synthv1 preset that is stored on my harddisk. But it would be nice if I could select a complete directory or multiple preset files in one step to load in my synthv1 presetlist.

The easiest way for me to do that right now is a little sh script (Linux), or some manual commandline typing, that lists the *.synthv1 files that I have, and writes the names to a list that I insert below [Presets] in the synthv1.conf file. This method works for me but is not for everyone.

Hi, I hope here is a good place to post this.

I am using synthv1 0.8.0 as an LV2 plugin with Ardour on Linux. Loading a preset for the first time in a session works fine, but if I click on the folder icon a second time to change presets, nothing happens, as in: if there was something playing, it keeps playing, but I can't modify the settings anymore, and more generally both the synthv1 and the Ardour windows stop responding (the Ardour window keeps refusing to respond even after killing the synthv1 window).

Is there something I can do to fix that?

I've noticed synthv1 has two input channels, but as far as I understand, it needs MIDI input to generate sound.
Is there a way I could use external signal as a base oscillator without need for a midi?

Hiya, is it best to just compile synthv1? I am on LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition). I've just installed qt5 and qt5-qmake so I'm hoping I should be all sorted to do the compilation.

this in order to get a big supersaw, I imagine the detune will have more grip.
