qsampler

Hi,

I am building the whole linuxsampler debian packages. Everything is fine until it comes to qsampler. I can build the project with:

sudo dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -b

however the generated package is missing most of the files. It only contains:

Could you please magick it so that qsamplers engine setting (in the channel config window) is auto-detected as soon as you pick a file with a valid extension? It'd save a couple of clicks and those clicks build up if you've got 30+ tracks to assign instruments to.

If I load the Fluid R3 GM Soundfont into qsynth, open the Channels window then double-click on a channel then I can switch between banks and also see the names of all the programs in the current bank - I don't seem to be able to do either when I load the same sf2 into qsampler. (change bank or see program/preset names).

Further, the 'Instrument' drop-down only lists the first 100 presets (without listing their names) when qsynth tells me there are 128 presets in the first bank alone.

I'm trying to use Qsampler(installed from the Ubuntu repositories), but I get this when I try to start it:

Qsampler: Error
Could not start server. Sorry.

the message logs say:

Cannot get qsampler to work with jack. It does work with ALSA.
This is the output i get any ideas

I have accidentally hide the menu bar in qsampler,

How can I unhide the menu bar?

Thanks for all the great software. I've been using Qsampler 0.2.2-2 on AVLinux 4.2. I notice that Qsampler does not seem to be able to handle SFZ and SF2 files which have been added to linuxsampler CVS. When you open the "New Channel" dialog the "Engine" menu lists "GIG, SF2, and SFZ". However, when you try to load a SFZ or SF2 file via the "Filename" entry box browser the file browser ignores SFZ and SF2 files. My suspicion is that you have not yet added SFZ and SF2 functionality to Qsampler.
